How we quote, what an order requires, what is included on site and what is not.

The commercial terms below are accurate and are IWS's own. They are not a complete terms of sale: warranty exclusions, limitation of liability, title and risk of loss, freight, returns, cancellation, governing law and dispute resolution are not yet covered. Quoting and ordering.
- Quotes
- Quotes are issued within 24 hours of receiving quantities, sizes, fabric style, control type and shade configuration. Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.
- Orders
- An order requires a signed quote and a 50% deposit. The balance is due COD. Credit terms are available for eligible customers on completion of a credit application.
- Standard lead time
- 10–15 business days after receipt of order for standard shade systems. Project lead times for engineered items are listed below.
- Collection and delivery
- Our Will Call counter is open during regular business hours. Delivery is available for an additional cost.

A.R.O. = after receipt of order. These are project lead times for the items listed. The standard lead time published on our purchasing page covers standard shade systems — confirm with your account representative which applies to your scope.

What an IWS order includes when the work reaches the building, and what the customer provides.
- Site meetings
- Airfare, transportation, lodging and expenses are included for four site meetings. Additional onsite meetings requested beyond those four are billed at actual expense.
- Scissor lifts
- Scissor lifts are to be provided onsite by the customer.
- Electrical work
- No electrical work is included in an IWS order; it is to be performed by others.

IWS shade systems carry a limited lifetime warranty. The full document sets out what it covers and what it excludes.
